Childhood is the moment which full of imagination and creativity, especially for Vision School students. Creativity is highly needed to grow and increase the sensitivity of aesthetic and artistic personality which leads to be creative and appreciative in a person as a whole.
We can stimulate these by having a creative event during the funweek. It is aimed to increase students’ potential and unity in doing useful things. Therefore, Vision School has the activity after the Semester Assessment for 4 days on 20 – 23 May 2019 academic year of 2018/2019.
Fun Week’s Purpose:

Fun Week’s activities
Craft day with Milie Art The students are painting and decorating used bottle assisted by Millie Art. The painted and decorated bottle is used as a pot for the plants which brought by the students on the next day on Go Green activity.
Go Green
This activity helps the students to understand the importance of planting and taking care of the plants. To reduce the global warming, reforestation is important for the school. Not only keeping the air fresh, but also as a good spot around the school
Watching Movie with religion teacher
It is held in every religion room, separately. The students watch the movie about being a good role model related to every religion in order to have religious students.
Morlife competition
Moorlife supports the activity by training the students focus in searching hidden pictures on a piece of paper and assisted by homeroom teacher. The winners are:
English first
EF fully support the activity to increase the students ability in English both spoken and written. Each and every activity is created beautifully so that the students enjoy it a lot. The students gain more knowledge than before. It is focused on developing the students’ leadership, creativity, enthusiasm, self confidence and many more.
Bazzar
The goal of the activity is to develop students’ ability in non-academic area. It helps the students to be an entrepreneur, communicate, and build relationship with others. The other golas are:
- To be an entrepreneur
- To help the students socialize with others
- To learn how to maintain, run, and develop the organizations in Vision School
- To be a good communicator among others
- To be a non-profit person
- To learn how to develop creative economy, expanding knowledge
- To study deeper in related subject such as :
- Social studies (Economics)
- Bahasa Indonesia (Communication skill)
- Art and craft
- Math (counting)
Fashion Show Competition
By using “Love Nature” theme. The upper grade students (Primary 4 – 6) are in groups to design and create a creative and eye-catching costume. Meanwhile, the lower grade students (primary 1 – 3) design the costume with their parents.
The goals are:
- Increase the students’ self confidence
- Support to be a competitive students
- Be a social student
- Appreciate the costume
- Self acknowledgement
- Be more discipline
- Support the students’ talent
- Being appreciated if they are chosen
- Get a certificate as an addition for the winners
- Introducing the advantages of recycle.
The activity runs smoothly and well. Hopefully, the students are able to know more about their potential and develop their creativity non-academically.
