One word best describe the feelings we experience when christmas time. That word is “LOVE”. Yes, on Thursday, December 13th. 2018, VISION SCHOOL celebrated the annual event, christmas. The event took place in gym room of vision school.
All Christian and Catholic students and also the teachers have been ready at the gym room at 8. We were ready to celebrate Christmas with love. Some students performed dances. They were Tamborin and “Shout to The Lord”.All the students who performed were from primary 3, primary 4, primary 5 and primary 6.
The rest of students enjoyed their friends performance by sitting down silently. In the back, some parents also came to join the celebration. We all were enthusiastically enjoy the celebration. Around 10 o’clock, our special guess came. They were our friends from Yayasan Peduli Kanker Anak Indonesia (YPKAI).
Why did they come to our Christmas celebration? Yes, we invited them to come because the Christmas committee wanted to give the donation from all students and parents who have donated their money and daily needs for them. Before giving the donation, Bu Iis, the one who takes care the cancer children introduced all the children who came to our celebration.
They performed something special for us. They sang enthusiastically. Suddenly, tears came for some of us. How great they are. LOVE is our massage for this christmas celebration. LOVE is one things that make us strong and feeling blessed. (Dyan)
